The Mossley Academy team returned to winning ways on Thursday enjoying a 2-0 success at Witton Albion.
Mossley started brightly but found the home keeper on top form ,making several saves before Witton hit back and missed a couple of opportunities to take the lead in a fairly even first half that ended goal less.
Isaac Lopez put the Lilywhites into a 50th minute lead, taking advantage of hesitancy in the home defence.
Play was fairly even and swung end to end, but the Mossley defence held firm with some stout and resolute play before 2nd half substitute Alieu Bass slotting home in the 84th minute to ensure the 3 points came home to Mossley.
The young Lilywhites have 5 games remaining, with four at Seel Park and a trip to Skelmersdale United in the offing, so have a good chance of finishing the season strongly.
